Date set for Rue Landau’s Trump Preparedness Hearing

Councilmember Rue Landau’s Trump Preparedness Hearing is set for Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, at 10 a.m. in Room 400 of Philadelphia City Hall, with a livestream available at phlcouncil.com/watch.

The hearing, authorized by Landau’s Nov. 21 resolution, will address Philadelphia’s preparedness to protect immigrant, LGBTQ+, and other marginalized communities in response to policies from the incoming Trump administration. City officials, nonprofit leaders, and community advocates will come together to assess vulnerabilities and strengthen local protections. Read more.
